Computer Science 100 - Homework 2: A Four-Year Plan

Assigned: Monday, February 19

Due: Monday, February 26 in class

Evaluation:

For this exercise only, you may work with as many other people in the class as you wish. You may also consult any other member of the campus community (other students, faculty and/or staff.) However, each student must submit his or her own four-year plan and accompanying requirements checklist.

Instructions: Fill in the B.S.C.S. - Tentative Four-Year Plan worksheet and also produce a four-year plan document. The four-year plan document shows what classes you plan to take each semester (including current and past semesters) to meet the degree requirements. The degree-requirements checklist should show the semester in which each requirement was or will be satisfied. The first semester of year one should be the first semester in which you were enrolled full-time in college. If you are no longer a CS major, my advice would be to fill out equivalent information for your current major.

For requirements in the LSP that don't involve specific required classes you are welcome to just indicate that you will take (say) a Writing-Enhanced course or a course to meet the History Mode or such, rather than listing specific courses, although you are always welcome to list specific courses if you wish.

What to turn in:

  1. A printed document (produced by some computer printer) with your four-year plan indicating what courses you plan to take each semester for four years.
  2. A filled-in printed copy of the B.S.C.S document with your information in it.
