CS 191 Homework 2

Numbered problems are from the Hein textbook. All homework problems are to be done individually, not in pairs or other groups. Use hw2cs191template.tex (or hw2cs191template.zip for Overleaf) as a starting point for the LaTeX that you produce for this homework. Again upload both your .tex and .pdf files.

1. Show all of the elements of the power set of the set {d,e,f}.
2. Using the Venn diagram given in the LaTeX template, replace the letters in the regions in that template with x's for the regions that are included in the sets:
   1. A' ∩ B' ∩ C'
   2. (A ∪ B) ∩ C
3. Section 1.2 Exercises 8.a, 11.a, 11.b, 14.a
4. Section 1.3 Exercises 2.b, 2.e, 5.b, 5.d, 5.e, 9.a, 9.b, 15.a, 15.b
